A Known Brand. A Clearer Vision.
When a brand already has recognition, our job isn’t to reinvent it. It’s to sharpen what it stands for. We kept the established MaxLaw identity front and centre, and clarified the brand vision with a new hero imagery and messaging.
The Lighthouse symbolises safe harbour, a place of rest after stormy seas. Safety, comfort and a guiding light to bring you home. We translated this to our core value message.
“Better Credit is on the Horizon.”
It’s aspirational, optimistic and human. It moves the conversation away from debt, judgments and stress, and towards what clients actually want: lower interest rates, better loan terms, new opportunities and real financial freedom.
Above all, it sets MaxLaw apart in a crowded and often mistrusted category. Not a debt counsellor. Not a quick fix. A genuine aid to consumers, standing beside them on the road to better credit.
A Responsive Website Rebuilt for Speed and Trust
We redesigned and rebuilt the entire MaxLaw website with one goal: make getting help feel easy.
The new site is:
Mobile responsive, because +84% of South Africans looking for credit help are searching on their phones.
Fast, with a lean build that loads quickly on any connection.
Locally relevant, speaking directly to South African consumers, their credit realities and their cities.
Trust-led, with social proof, Hellopeter ratings and a clear legal framework visible from the first scroll.
A calm horizon, a lighthouse and a single clear call to action: Start Now.
An Onboarding Journey That Starts With “Why”
Credit problems are personal. So the new customer onboarding journey starts with the most important question:
Why do you want to fix your credit?
Whether it’s accessing lower interest rates, qualifying for better loan terms, landing a better job or simply reducing financial stress, clients choose their goal first. Then a short, mobile-friendly form captures their details and routes them straight to the right MaxLaw team.
Goal-led entry points across the site, all leading to one streamlined application.
Fewer fields, clearer language and POPIA-ready consent.
Prominent “Get Help Now” and “Start Now” calls to action on every page.
From first visit to first conversation in a few clicks.
Locally Relevant, Nationally Visible
People don’t search for “credit repair”. They search for credit help where they live.
We built a network of locally relevant landing pages for Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and rural communities, each speaking to the realities of consumers in that region.
Alongside them, solution pages target the moments that matter most: car finance, home loans and renting a home, plus judgment removal, debt help and credit repair.
The result is a site that meets clients at the exact point of need, in their city and in their own words.
A Content Strategy That Compounds
A website launch is a starting line, not a finish line. So we implemented a content strategy designed to build authority month after month.
The new Articles & Education hub answers the questions South Africans are actually asking:
What is credit repair? What is a judgment?
Debt counselling vs debt review.
Section 129 notices, ITC clearance and the true cost of credit.
Every article educates first, builds trust and gently guides readers towards help. Over the last year, that strategy has driven rapid growth in the site’s reach.
Clearer Skies Ahead
MaxLaw didn’t need a new logo. They needed their digital presence to live up to the brand South Africans already knew.
Forge delivered a sharper vision, a faster and more human website, a frictionless path to help and a content engine that keeps growing.
For MaxLaw’s clients, better credit really is on the horizon. Now they can find it.
